About 6th Aug

８月６日は、６５回目の広島原爆投下の日でした。

今年は初めて、アメリカのルース駐日大使が平和記念式典に参加し

核廃絶を目指すと共に、被爆者への敬意を示しました。

その他、イギリスBBCでも記念式典が生放送される等、クローズアップされました。

しかし、その傍ら原爆を投下したB２９「エノラ・ゲイ」の機長の息子が

その事に対して「前例がなく、すべきではなかった」「暗黙の謝罪だ」などと

批判したとされています。

いつまで、「原爆投下が正しい選択だった」とか「多くの命が救われた」

なんて言えるのか？誰が正しくて、誰が間違っていた訳？何をもって正義なのか？

きっと、その当時は全てが狂っていて、尋常では無かったと予想するので

あえて、エノラ・ゲイの機長や他の特定の人を責めるつもりは全くない。

ーしかし、もういいかげん、目を覚まして前を見て欲しい。

核を廃絶し、安全で安心で、平和な世界になりたい。

一日でも早く。

明日は９日、長崎投下です。

ASAKUSA and RYOGOKU

以前、浅草橋のお祭りを見に言った時の写真です。

夏本番で、毎日暑くて暑くて意識が薄れそうになる... :-(

けど、こうして日本のお祭りを見て

その色や、音、匂いを感じると、ふっと懐かしく心が暖かい気持ちにしてくれます。

やっぱり、私は日本人だなー。

These pics are at the festival in Asakusa in Tokyo the other day.

Summer has come so I near pass out because of this hot and humidity :-(

But as watching the jp fes like this and feel its colour, sounds and smell,

which made me so nostalgic and also make me feel warm in my heart.

Am totally japanese.

The other day I got a little present which was my favorite chocolate!!!

We both love chocolate so often discuss(?) about how great it is and which brands are super or not....

Bravo! chocolate !

先日、私の大好きなチョコレートのプレゼントを頂きました！

お互いチョコレート好きなので、どれだけチョコレートが素晴らしいとか、どこのが美味しいとか美味しくないとか、しょっちゅう議論（？）してます。

ブラボー！チョコレート！

eggs'n things in TOKYO

Finally I made it!!!

This Hawaiian restaurant called eggs'n things is famous for pan cakes with large and tall whipped cream :-)

There's a long queue for this so we needed to wait for around 1 hour ( maybe we're idiot...)

However so yummy !!!!

They also have breakfast menu, maybe I'll try it next time.

p.s no need to have whipped cream for a while...:-P

ハンスコパー展に、行きました。

ルーシー・リーは、以前から好きだったのですが

彼女と一緒に作品を作っていたとは、知りませんでした。

彼の作風は、とても穏やかでやさしい

時に、静かに強く印象を与えるモノでした。

きっと　彼自身がそういう方なんでしょうね:-)

それと...

今回の展示は、LEDや有機ELを使用したものになってます。

最近ようやく、LEDも世の中に普及して来ましたが

美術館で使用してる例は、まだ数はありません。

照明の観点から、ご興味のある方も是非どうぞ！

The atomic bomb is the appearance of anger and fear.

When a war really comes to the end on earth, it means it may be the time we finally get back serenity.

考えよう、私達は何を学んで来たのか？

核爆弾は心の怒り、恐れの現れ。

この世から、本当に戦争が無くなる時は

ようやく、人々が心の安らぎを取り戻した時かもしれない。

it is on at scai the bathhouse where is used be a public bath and have been renovated into an art gallery.

Anish Kapoor, is one of the impressive artist.

I always feel he has strong and thick line in his mind.

1 step forward

These fashion are designed by Hussein Chalayan

Currently his solo exhibition in on at Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.

His point of view for fashion is so flexible and unpredictable!

so everything can be connected like fashion and furniture, fashion and art, fashion and digital....etc or I can say it can be transformed into anything.

I always think I'd love to do 1 step-forward-design.

Not 3 steps but 1 step because most people can't follow me if I suggested 3 steps-forward one.Maybe people can't see the reality so 1 step is more acceptable.

Design is always to connect something and someone to make life better, I guess.This exhibition reminds me of this thought.

現在、東京現代美術館で彼の個展が開催されています

彼のファッションに対する視点は、とても柔軟で驚きのある！

なので、ファッションと家具、ファッションとアート、ファッションとデジタル等々ー全てを繋げる事が出来る。と言うより、何にでも変容させる事が出来るーと言える。

私はいつも、一歩先のデザインがしたいと思っている。

三歩先を提案してしまうとほとんどの人が着いて来れないので、三歩先でなく一歩先を目指している。たぶん、３歩先では現実感が見えないのだろう。なので一歩先が、より受け入れられる。

デザインは、いつも何かと誰かを繋げて、生活／人生を豊かにしてゆく事だと思う。今回は、それを思い起させる個展でした。

blooming like this is so stunning after a long winter, which brings us serene and happiness.

I'd love to behave to let people surround me happy like this in everyday life.

たまたま、すでに桜が咲いているのを見つけました！

長い冬を経て、凛と咲く桜はとても美しく、見ているとスーッと幸せな気分になります。

私も、周りの人を幸せな気分になれる様な行いをしたいーと日々思います。

これだけあるけど　最終決定分はここには無いのです！

入稿間際まで「本当にこれで良いのか？」と自問自答は続く

だから　いつも考える

ひつこく　考えてる

すると

ふわっと予期しない　別のポイントに飛ばされて

意外なモノへと変わって行くのが　おもしろい

ーという訳で

年賀状は　この写真とは全く違うモノになりました

今年も　宜しくお願いします

To say "i was busy" is just an excuse because time is to create...sorry

Anyway

these piles of papers were ideas for a new year card of this year.

However, there's no final one here.

It's just a piece of card but I talked to myself "is this really right/good ? " until

sending manuscripts to a printing office.

So that's why I alway examine.

tenaciously examine.

I'm flew to an unpredictable point so it's fascinating transforming an idea into an unexpected thing.

so that's why...

the final design was totally different from these !
